My macbook was a crackbook!
It happened all of a sudden. I swear I didn't bang it or anything. I took it in last night and they finished repairing it this morning! I <3 Apple Geniuses! hahaha
They gave me a brand new top cover which includes a new keyboard. Everything is all clean and beautiful now. haha. I'm afraid to remove the plastic covering the bottom. lol
Thank goodness they replaced everything 'cause my keys were getting really oily from so much typing.
Anyway, I received my silk naturals last week and have been using dait bait and tart daily!
In the picture, I applied tart with a really light hand. I like it a lot. It reminds me of dollymix when I apply it lightly. I also mixed SN dait bait and EDM tinted silk dust together and I've been loving both.

I have been violating so many of the "beauty laws"... Since I'm moving home Saturday, I've already packed up most of my makeup and brushes. I've been applying my eyeshadows with my fingers, which I know is so bad! Oh and don't be fooled by my picture, I retouched it. LOL My skin is really bad right now because I haven't been using toner and lotion at all this week. When you neglect Proactiv, it kills your skin! Oh yeah and my sleeping schedule has been really off for all of May.
I'm so glad I don't have any classes this summer. It's gonna be the first time in three years where I can just relax. Okay.. not really, I have to study for my DAT. hah. So.. I'm moving back Saturday and I have a lot of plans.. but I'll discuss that some other time. haha I'm about to launch my blogspot. Sorry Khannie, I think I'm going to go with a whole different layout and banner.. the one we got going is too complicated for me to fix. haha.

I took the final to my human sexuality class today. I can officially say I know everything about human sex. hahaha.

I've been so attached to my ipod lately. I'm just now getting into Tegan and Sara, Lykke Li, little birdy, and this weird weird band called Hot Chip. lol
Toan bought me an arm band for my ipod so I can work out with it. I guess I should visit the gym sometime then. haha
Oh, I am totally frustrated with my new blog website now. I'm on the look out for any bored 14 year olds interested in doing my page. lol
My sleeping schedule is all sorts of fucked up right now. It is 5:30 am as I am typing this.
Danny has insisted that I take some photos of myself soon. My vox entries have been faceless (recent pics) for a page or two now. lol All I've been posting are throwback pics! HAHA 'cause I've been looking like crap lately.

Here's another one for my neighborhood only. Senior year of high school and I'm not wearing any make-up. I look so gangsta'. LOL I wore big hoodies a lot and jeans only.
In other news, I have been cheating on Vox just a little. I'm trying to build my personal blogging website right now... but I am failing miserably. Khannie and Bee have been a lot of help but I'm so picky with my design and layout so it gets very frustrating. I still love vox but I've always wanted a page of my own creation so until I launch it, Vox will still be my blogging outlet.
I ate too much... lol
- Slept on the way to Houston... like always.
- Ate at "Tay Do" with my friend Man and his girlfriend. She has a Hello Kitty tattoo on her shoulder! Freakin' awesome girl.
- Got a strawberry-mango shaved ice at the "Juice Box". It was so heavenly.. *salivates
- Went to UH and UTHSCH-Dental Branch as well as all the med, nursing, and pharmacy schools. I am so motivated now.
- Went to Galleria where all the MILF hoochies shop. Went to Chanel and touched all the bags. They were all worth at least $2,000. AT LEAST. *gags
- Went to eat at some Vietnamese restaurant in Bellaire. The name escapes me.. but we rolled our own spring rolls and it was very delicious.
- Went to HK4 and bought some Vietnamese food that I can eat for the rest of the weekend.
- Got shaved ice at "Star Snow Ice" and it sucked. Really bad. How can you mess up beans and ice?
- Slept on the way back to San Antonio... like always.
- Got myself a passenger side tan. lol

What is up with Saturday drivers? It seems like this is the only day where people forget how to drive. It makes me very angry.. and scared for my life. lol To add to that, Houston drivers are really aggressive and impatient. San Antonio drivers just don't know how to yield and they're all slow drivers! I can't say much about Dallas because I'm from there and I think we're all perfect. LOL
Being in San Antonio for the past three years, I have not been exposed to large amounts of Asians. So whenever I'm in other cities (Austin, Dallas, Houston), and there are Asians, they all stare at me and I get really annoyed. Toan says it's because we don't look like typical Vietnamese people. Whatever! I ain't related to you, quit staring!

I love the MAC studio finish concealer for undereyes, but it doesn't last when applied on blemishes, scars, etc. It covered my dark under eyes all day in Houston + the humidity but it disappeared from the rest of my face in under 2 hours! ... oh and that was sitting in the car on the way to Houston! lol Now I must search high and low for a HG face concealer!
I also used the Cosmedicine Medi-matte TM and fell in love. I will do a review some other time.
My order included 1 emu soap (mango papaya) and 2 trial sized emu oil's (one of them contains sweet orange EO). Lure Beauty generously included 4 body butter samples and 1 tart melt for candles... of which I accidently cut through cause it was at the top of the bag. ooops. lol

Emu soap (Mango Papaya): I used this just now in the shower and it is a great moisturizer! However, I dislike the smell.. I think I should've chose a more fresh scent but I'm always thinking of food so I chose mango papaya. LOL Overall, good soap... my legs are usually really itchy when I get out of the shower and I know it's because they don't have enough moisture... well, they weren't itchy tonight! lol I will continue using this and will probably reorder in a different scent when I run out.
Emu oil: I didn't do anything today so I applied it during the morning. At first, I thought it was too greasy and my skin really shiny but I loved what I saw at the end of the day! My blemishes were not as red and this acne scar that I have on my forehead faded a little. This is just after maybe 8+ hours of wear. I also applied it to some ant bites on my legs. I will continue using this but only at night. hehe
Lure beauty... so far so good. The smells from the body butter are really musky and strong. One of them is for men.. but I will use it on myself anyway. lol
I am still awaiting silk naturals to arrive! They're taking forever.. I don't even remember what I ordered now! HAHA

For people in Dallas, Russell Peters is at the improv in Addison this weekend. I've been to two of this shows and he once rocked my socks.. but not no longer. He broke my heart in November when he cancelled his Dallas show. Bastard. But if you are new to his comedy, you might enjoy it. There are other acts such as Paul Varghese and he is always hilarious (You might remember him from Last Comic Standing).
The costs have exceeded our budget so it's a no go. =[
It's okay though because that just means more money in my pocket. Toan and I have decided to go to Houston on Saturday and waste money there instead. lol Then he's headed to Austin Sunday and Monday for his 21st birthday festivities.
I found out my friend Tuan has crawfish boils every summer in Dallas.. I had no clue because I was never in town! Anyway, he drives to Louisiana to visit the crawfish farms and comes back with loads of lbs. So never fret, I will still have a taste of authentic Louisiana crawfish this summer!
... fucking broke me out.
I got this as a sample and used it for three days straight. At first I liked it because I woke up and my face wasn't oily or too dry.. it was normal! After the 2nd day I started to notice little blemishes and then on the third day I just got really pissed off. lol
The lotion has so much stinky silica in it! I think this product would work on older non- acne prone women.
My skin is healing now. I exfoliated with aspirin and honey, applied proactiv toner and lotion and I've also started to wear EDM's translucent silk dust at night and I like it!

I only have one week of maymester left! I'm not moving back to Dallas till June 7th though because that's the only time available. =[ I recently joined facebook and found most of my old buddies since I was 5! It's so exciting.. now we're all going to meet up and do stuff. lol

I love this brush so far! I just brutally washed it and it hasn't shed. It's really soft and picks up just the right amount of product. I needed to get this because my coastal scents blush brush was driving me crazy! It was so coarse and it felt nasty.. I threw it away finally. =]
The blue dress is from GAP, the dark grey dress from target, and the rest are banana republic and one NY&Company shawl thing.
I used my discounts and the target card Khannie & Tony gave me. ;]

The target dress looks dressy but it's not. I like it a lot.. it's actually my first clothing purchase from Target ever.
Gap makes really wonderful dresses! They're so soft and comfy. I have another black one that I bought a few weeks ago so I will probably be wearing these out in New Orleans 'cause it's going to be hot and humid.
I finally mustered up the courage to ask for a sample at Sephora. The SA made me a sample of Cosmedicine medi-matte in Light. I had to talk to her for a good 2-3 minutes about what I was looking for and that I specifically wanted to try it out for a few days. I compared it with a sample size container from EDM.
I was also approached by a male SA at Sephora and he was so intimidating! He was the manager and he talked to me for a good long 5 minutes about tinted moisturizer and how it's bad for the summer because we all get tanner in the summer. He kept talking after I told him I never tan! I'm a pale pale Asian girl. lol Anyway, I hate talking to male SA's that aren't friendly and flamboyant. The serious ones always seem like they're scrutinizing your entire face. HAHAHA Then he told me to try Laura Mercier makeup 'cause that's all he uses.
I am still waiting on Lure beauty & SN stuff to arrive.

EDIT: I forgot to add that I received my EDM angled blush brush a week ago. I've been using it to contour with my MAC accentuate & sculpt and I love it! I haven't been making myself up lately 'cause my class is at 8am and I knock out once I get home.. but I'll take pictures Friday or something!
I have been so amazed by Post Secret.
I've been watching youtube clips of post secrets and it is so sad. I marvel at the fact that these come from real everyday people. Some of these secrets are really shocking, like people admitting to murder and wanting to commit suicide.
... and this one is my favorite. It even has one of my favorite Michael Buble songs playing.
It makes me want to send in a postcard! Such an emo day...
I wish they would come to a museum in Texas! I would love to go check out all these postcards in person.
I got lost in San Antonio today because they did construction and I had to take a detour. It didn't help that I'm directionally challenged and was all alone and was low on gas =[ I ended up following the crowd and eventually got back on I-10W. It was so frustrating and scary!
